Get a Rand McNally Road Atlas! We just got one for our road trip to Michigan. There is hours and hours of entertainment wrapped up in one of those suckers. Plus, you can have compititions like who can guess which state "Upper Darby" is in...and which state is bordered by 8 other states? (Other kids played these games when they were growing up, right?...not just Burt's).......c.

Buy and read: "Free Lunch: How the Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves at Government Expense," by NY Times reporter David Cay Johnston.
It will challenge the very conservative within you. It will enrage you how special interests have bought Republican and Democratic politicians to shape polices to enrich themselves, get as many tax credits and breaks as they can consume, all at the expense of our national debt. Notice I didn't say at the expense of "the poor, needy, less fortunate, education, (insert urban grievance here), etc...)...
Nope. All of these giveaways to corporations are at the expense of yours and my paycheck every two weeks.
