Help the Taits...
After the death of Sophie Tait, a tan-colored pug, Hank, Mary and Christina are getting a new dog, a cockapoo.
Here's the problem: They don't have a name.
That's where you come in: What should the dog's name be?
It is a female, by the way and it arrives June 20.
Some ideas:
-- Sasha. It's a horrible name for this particular blogger to say, but it is timely given the occupants of the White House.
-- Ayn or Rand. Nice and simple. Meaningful.
-- Peter. Just to throw people off a bit.
-- Lucy. It is fun, human and short.
-- Sophie Two. But that may confuse the young ones.
Please share your ideas. I hear it is with Mary where the ultimate decision lies.
(By the way, I'm not sure I can explain that picture, but my guess is that the dog is Jewish. So perhaps Mara is a good choice.)

Oh man!! I can't decide... this is so much pressure...Lucy. I think Lucy is a very cute name. Kinda looks like a Lucy!
A choice does not have to be mad from those ideas given here, just so you know. Any ideas are welcome.
Made... that is suppose to say made, not mad.
PAM
I am not sure why, but she looks like a Chelsea or Chelsie to me.
I like Pam!!!! Pam! Pam! Pam!
Gojeerah (like how the Japanese dudes say godzilla).
GOJEERAH!!!
I guess it would inevitably get shortened to Gojie in day to day life, but that's cool too.
Thanks Stephen for starting this for me. I am so VERY excited about this new puppy in our life. We even bought a fenced thing via the internet this week, and it already arrived, to hold the baby while in the house. (I dont' want her pooping and going potty just anywhere).
I love the name Lucy, and Pam and even Gojie. Chelsea sounds pretty fancy and pretty too. Man...this will be a huge decision.
I love this set of choices though, keep them coming. :)
BTW, those of you who know John Gross, you missed him in concert tonight in Clare, by the water tower. It was so pretty out and its the 1st of nine concerts scheduled for this summer. Come sometime on a Thursday to visit, there are a variety of musicians scheduled. There will be a night of Clare Idols too. It should be fun.
You can name it a family name such as Stella or Pilon, but if I ever have a girl which is not likely I really like Stella along with Charlotte and it would be weird having my daughter and dog name the same... Whatever. Or you can call her Palin. Palin is good. ~kt
This is Christina.
This is what Christina likes.
Sorry, but NO LUCY.
I plan on naming my second daughter Lucille (Lucy for short).
Genevieve
Millionaire(Stephen; like the guy on Slumdog Millionaire, the way he says it...more like Millina...Idk, I think it's cute)
Mara; I like it
Shea; shea butter is always nice
Gojie; very nice
Pearl
Confusion<---literally!
Verna; Max's grandmother's newly discovered REAL first name o_0
Leslie
Myrtle; She looks like a Myrtle to me :D
Silje (Sill-jay); a girl I used to know, she's gorgeous, and the pup reminds me of her...
Fletcha; Herman's remember trying to come up with names for your firstborn? Yeah, I've invented the girl form of Fletcher. Or if she likes to fetch...Fetcha :D
Faline, or Fraline; Anybody remember the doe from Bambi? The one he meets in the meadow...
Alesana
Alexina; The computer told me I spelled Alesana incorrectly( which I know is impossible), I checked the suggestion and Alexina came up... thought it was cute...Ooh! Lexi!
Beatrice
Chantilly
Margo
De Lacey (Lacey for short); old blind man (he was French, so yeah, I think it was the last name) from the book Frankenstein...
Helena
Melly
Paprika; Fits her, (though Pepper would make a bit more sense...but it's not unique enough, my friend Amanda has a dog named Pepper)
Roxbury(Roxie for short); Night At The Roxbury....one hit wonder "What is Love" ("what is love, baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more...")
So yea...I have tons more, but...I think I've made it rather obvious I have no life, so I am now going to go into hiding.
I think she looks like a Meggie. She looks petite and very feminine. Meggie Tait, easy to say, playful and cute.
