Home Tours

Our street, Fruit Street, is the city's only Local Historic District, which means it is protected under city law to preserve the historic architecture of its homes. This week was Preservation Week and as part of that, people took a "Fruit Street Crawl" with an architect explaining the different aspects of the homes on this block-long street.

Our's is the former home of Jacob Perkins, an inventor. His garage, which is in our backyard, is getting turned into a museum.

Drinks at the Thirsty Whale. On the left, a vodka with Sprite and a splash of lemonade. On the right, Bushmills on the rocks.

Nice Stephen. It looks like you and Linsey had lots of peeping Toms checking out your faces while you watched T.V. So, are they going to start working on the historic garage soon?

I think its great there is so much history there. I wanted to buy this old county house that was for sale down the road from us but Jason thought I was crazy. It is this old two story brick building with pillars in front and it could be an amazing home. I need to work on my persuasion skills.
