Like Mike...

So, Stephen got some new goggles to use at pool at the YMCA that we just joined.  I tried them out at the indoor scuba tank that we have in our new apartment.  They work pretty good.  I think Michael Phelps would approve.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately.  We don't have a camera at the moment, but that is all going to change this week when I finally order my new camera gear.  We'll post pictures of our new place soon, I promise.

Finally, we're back.

It's been a long time, but we finally have the World Wide Interweb at our Port Huron home. It's nice to be back, the world at our fingertips, our potential limitless.

So far, we enjoy our home: We are a block from the St. Clair River, which is fun since we can see from our windows the massive freighters that travel it; Lake Huron is just several blocks away, complete with plenty of nice beaches; a fine collection of watering holes, including a micro brewery, are within walking distance; my work is just two blocks away; and there is a Meijer within easy driving distance, which is reassuring since you never know what you're going to need a 4 a.m.

For those who feel compelled, please visit. We try to practice an open-door policy in which all family and friends (with only some exceptions) are always welcome. Especially if you come with a bottle of wine or six pack of brews.

Yikes.....

...it's been a while since we have posted anything.  Most of you probably know that we are moving back to Michigan (woo hoo!) so things have been a little crazy around here finishing up our last few days at work, packing the apartment and still trying to make the most of our last few days in Newburyport.

Friday night Stephen's co-workers are having a going away party at our favorite bar, The Thirsty Whale.  Hank is also diving out here, with Christina I beleive, to help us move.  And Jason and Kara are also going to come up and help us on Saturday as well.  Then on Sunday we'll leave early in the morning and make our way to Port Huron.  We are really excited to get settled into our new place!  Hopefully it won't be to long before we get the internet and can post some pictures of our new home and our new city.

Anyway, I needed a break from packing so I thought I'd post some more pictures from Lynne and John's wedding.

This is Lynne and John coming out of the Church.  Lynne looked beautiful.

Lynne, Kate and Liz were all in mine and Stephen's wedding, so it was great to be able to see them because we haven't seen each other since then.

This is all of us at the rehearsal.

And here is me and Stephen after the ceremony.

Photos from Michigan

Alden getting ready to hit the road.

Cassie crawling toward camera.
Mom and Stephen enjoying a beverage and food at BWs.

John and Lynne Bosma the night before they became John and Lynne Bosma.

Another picture of Glenn Lake.

Out pictures from this vacation are lame, mostly because out camera is out of whack.
We'll do better next time.

Some pictures from Michigan

Downtown Detroit after dinner. It was cold, and for some reason I ran through a fountain, which made me colder.

In front of the Tiger at Comerica Park with Linsey, Tim (Linsey's cousin) and his girlfriend, Patty.

Hank Tait's childhood home in Allen Park, Mich.

The place the Wuepper's rented on Glenn Lake. The lake is beautiful, the water warm and clear. The home was decorated in late 1960s, early 1970s furniture, including a circular chair, a canoe shaped couch and a toaster built-in to the wall.

Waiting to debark on the pontoon.
