Building a Cake

Linsey agreed to make a wedding cake for some friends at work. This last weekend she did a practice run. The cake looked good and tasted good.

Wow wee Linsey. That is a beautiful cake! What kind of frosting is it? Buttercream?

Lizzy makes bunny cakes,(back in the day) right Lizzy? It looks like it took a long time Linsey, but, your friend will really like it I'm sure.

yes, I made bunny cakes and we made a wedding cake for Tim and Bevs wedding, plus for Shawna (Bevs daughter)s wedding cake.
Lots of work, but fun, right Linsey??

What did you put for filling??

Thanks everyone! It's buttercream frosting with a raspberry buttercream filling. It was very fun to make, but I'm glad I made a practice one! I'll make the real one for their actual wedding Friday and Saturday. The wedding is Sunday. ~Linsey

WOW! And I thought your Mom was the family "Martha Stewart". I guess the torch has been passed to a new generation.
